Oh dear. I didn't realise the Lib Dems in the UK have hit a low of 14% in the opinion polls. Poor Ming has decided that the best way forward is to drag journalists to him for a weekly briefing in a rather desperate attempt for some headlines.
I can't help but think that in Politics you're a success if the journalists turn up automatically when you do something, anything, rather than having to put a note in their diary.
So it seems it could be all change at the Lib Dem leadership before too long and not just the Scottish branch. I always did like Chris Huhne to be totally honest. And if the Scottish Lib Dems are brave enough to draft in Charlie Kennedy as their leader (with some sort of by-election along the way of course), then it could be interesting times for them. Failing that, it looks like they'll have some grey days ahead.
I'm sure those nice Lib Dem people are in favour of euthanasia. Now all they need is for Ming to realise his time is up....
