Why can't we all just get along?

Oh dear, oh dear.

I have to say I am deeply saddened to learn that there is a march being organised to (and I quote) "take to the streets in this war against Scientology".

First of all, a "war"? Really?

I admit that I don't know very much about Scientology but until they step on my toes I will be very careful not to step on theirs.

We share this planet with 6 billion people and if we can't tolerate other peoples' way of life in a city as civilised as Edinburgh then it's no wonder the rest of the world is in such a ruddy mess.

So if you happen to be passing South Bridge at 11am. And just happen to be carrying an egg on you. I beseech you to throw it at any one who is silly and sad enough to turn out for this stupid 'war'.
