Waste not, want not

I think Gordon Brown needs a new PR manager, or maybe he doesn't even have one.

But I found it quite something that on the same day that Brown lectured us all on wasting too much food, he found time to sit round the table with his G8 chums and, in one sitting, gorge on smoked salmon, caviar, milk-fed lamb, grilled eel, hairy crab, special cheeses and "G8 fantast dessert".
