Well, until 8am tomorrow morning at least, in keeping with normal stock exchange rules.
But still, joking aside, a close of 90p!? £1.60 was meant to be as low as it would go.
I honestly gasped when I saw that 87p earlier, correct as at 16:22pm. A drop of 41% today alone.
The worst is, if all confidence goes, then even 87p will seem attractive and it will all be over. Scotland will have lost 2 banks in as many weeks.
Before much longer, the Government will need to step in but Scotland, much like Iceland, may already be on her knees.....

Sadly Alex Salmond always cited Iceland, along with Ireland and Norway as one of the small European economies he wanted an Independent Scotland to emulate.
Very worrying for RBS employees. The people responsible are clearly the senior management who paid way over the odds for ABN-Amro and therefore have left RBS too weak to cope with the current firestorm. I read on another blog that apparently 30% of all business transactions in Britain are handled by RBS so if it goes under then the economy would be devastated with thousands of firms unable to pay their workers or pay suppliers. It won't come to that, there's far too much at stake but it just shows how close to the edge we all are.
Strangely, I was told this would happen last week. The person also told me it would happen today.
Seems he was right on both counts.
Hope it gets sorted out.
Am I the only one who finds it slightly sickening that some are using the meltdown of the Iceland economy as a stick to beat the SNP with?
