I was very surprised to hear that today marks the first full day that a black man is in charge of a FTSE 100 business. Tidjane Thiam is the new Chief Executive of Prudential.
Who would have thought we would have had a black US President before 1 of the UK's top 100 companies had a black leader.
And, to add to the joy of the story itself, the insurance giant's share price went up 13% after the news was released.

There's an idea for RBS! Install a token black man at the top and watch the share price magically recover.
