Sublime to the Ridiculous

An interesting question over at The Spectator as they ask: Can the internet turn Daniel Hannan's evisceration of Gordon Brown into a sensation?

I daresay unless the mainstream media covers such a story immediately, regardless of how utterly wonderful it is, then the chances are they won't do so one week, two weeks or three months hence.

Needless to say though, if hundreds of thousands or even millions of YouTube viewers can turn a 3 minute video into big news then that would be sublime.

And so, with little other news to talk about, I move on to the ridiculous.

An 18 year old secretly painted a 60ft drawing of a phallus on the roof of his parents' £1million mansion in Berkshire. It was there for a year before his parents found out. They say he'll have to scrub it off when he gets back from travelling.

Brilliant. Some teenagers slam doors in protest, others go out and get drunk. So kudos to this kid who had a strop, dare I say it, big willy style.
