The BNP leader is sitting in the Andrew Marr studio, chatting away to Mr Marr as I type. And some people are aghast at the BBC for hiring Johnathon Ross!?
I suspect there's going to some serious outrage on this.
Personally, Nick deserves as wide a British political platform as any other leader in the UK who won 2 MEPs. Alex Salmond springs to mind and he was on The Daily Politics last week so fair play to him. The guy's a nonce with his "multicultural experience" and "all white Britain is undoable" but he's earned a pulpit with this European election result.
Won't get to watch it all but Nick Griffin so far has merely batted away supposed rumours and untruths about his party. The interview will happen, it will end and hopefully that will be the end of it.
If a big hoo-ha starts up then I suspect Nick will be thinking... 'Mission accomplished'.

I agree, hiding the BNP away is simply increasing the interest in them as rumour rubs up against fact.
Better to be open and transparent on it and if people agree with him then we need to question ourselves why that is.
I think the media should give as much exposure to Griffin as is reasonably possible. Every time he opens his mouth he digs a bigger hole for himself. The comments about sinking refugee boats from Africa was just the latest. Don't forget that the BNP vote actually went down in the recent Euro elections. The 2 MEPs were elected as a result of massive stay at home by voters of all the main parties.
I presume Caroline Lucas will be on next week's show then?
