I'd love to come along too, but there's no way I can make it through to Edinburgh at the moment;
Quite aside from my reliance on public-transport (which from Greenock to Edinburgh is unpleasantly expensive and time-consuming), I'm also feeling like shit with this damned bug.
But do report back on your experience Jeff. We need to start engaging with the people a lot better on independence.
I agree that we need to start engaging with the people better on independence. Far too often the reflex response from many citizens to the concept of independence is that "we can't survive on our own two feet".
We have to demonstrate that with independence we can not only survive, we can prosper.
We are letting Labour's politics of fear trump the politics of ambition and aspiration.
The event was fab, three top drawer presentations though I have to admit that Pat Kane in particular blew me away with his chosen topic, comparing Obama campaign methods with the National Conversation.
I'll try to write it up properly later and maybe even go back for the last session but yes, great event and hopefully it'll be built on.
