Given the continuous distortion and the pounding the Government has had on this all across the "Scottish " media I am heartened that support remains as high as 35%.
I am much comforted that virtually all the sensible, decent and politically aware voters support the decision which is a defining moment for the SNP
As more and more people understand that Al Megrahi's conviction is now almost certainly unsustainable this group will grow.

The swing doesn't surprise me given media coverage (stirring?) and, to be fair, the fact that Megrahi appears relatively healthy (i.e. alive) to Joe Public.

Interestingly, I saw/heard Ann Leslie of the Daily Mail last week not shying away from the fact that people can recover unexpectedly well despite the early prognosis. This even though (I'm assuming) she cannot abide the SNP.

Thought Alex Salmond did well on Sky News this morning in exposing Labour and Tory duplicity (i.e. Blair Government saying one thing while Scottish Labour says another).
